Hawaiian Menudo Pockets Recipe

                                     Hawaiian Menudo Pockets

Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/4 kilo pork loin, cut into cubes
1 tablespoon garlic, crushed and minced
1 tablespoon onion, minced
1/4 cup green bell pepper, sliced
1 piece bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1/4 cup carrot strips
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup pineapple juice, unsweetened
2 tablespoon pineapple chunks, drained liquid
1 tablespoon raisins
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 packet PAL SWEET™ Calorie Free Sweetener
1/4 teaspoon MSG
1/4 teaspoon iodized salt
Cooking Procedure:
1. Sauté garlic and onions. Add pork loin and stir fry until color changes. Add bell pepper and carrots.
2. Pour pineapple juice and simmer until meat is tender. Add water when necessary.
3. Once meat is tender and water has reduced, add tomato sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add raisins, pineapple chunks and soy sauce. Season with pepper and MSG.
4. Add grated cheese. Turn off heat when cheese has melted. Add PAL SWEET™ Calorie Free Sweetener. Mix well. Serve immediately.
Makes 4-6 servings

i'm gonna try this recipe...intreresting..the usual menudo w/ pineapple as a twist..my family will surely like it..i love sauces and its an additional recipe in my lists...thank u quickfire and more recipes to try.. God Bless
