Parsley Buttered Carrots Recipe

                                          Parsley Buttered Carrots

2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups cubed carrots
2 tablespoons minced parsley
1/2 pack 7 grams AJINOMOTO GINISA All Purpose Seasoning Mix

Cooking Procedure:
1.Place butter in an ovenproof casserole. Heat on full power for 30-60 seconds or until melted.
2.Stir in carrots and parsley flakes. Mix well and cook covered for 3 minutes or until tender.
3.Sprinkle AJINOMOTO GINISA All Purpose Seasoning Mix and mix well.
4.Heat for another minute. Serve hot together with your favorite main dish.

Makes 3 servings.

1. Calorie watchers may substitute 2 tablespoons of water butter.
2. Carrots are an excellent source of antioxidant compounds, and the richest vegetable source of the pro-vitamin A carotenes. Carrots' antioxidant compounds help protect against cardiovascular disease and cancer and promote good vision, especially night vision.
3. The darker the orange color of the carrot, the more beta-carotene it contains.
4. When buying carrots, its surfaces must be smooth, firm and free from cracks and the tops should be free from any sprouting green shoots, which would indicate an older carrot.
