Del Monte Red Sinigang
Basic Ingredients:
- ½ kg Pork Liempo(cut into chunks )
- 1 pc (small) Sibuyas (sliced)
- ½ tbsp Patis
- 2¼ cups Water
- 3 pc Okra(each piece cut into two )
- 1 to 2 pc Siling Haba
- 100 grams Labanos (sliced)
- 1 bunch Kangkong (leaves and tender stalks only )
- 1 tbsp Sinigang Mix Powder
- 1 pouch (200 grams)Del Monte Original Style Tomato Sauce
Cooking Methods:
- Sauté onion and pork in 1 tablespoon oil for 5 minutes or until pork is slightly brown
- Add patis, stir, then add DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Add water. Cover and Simmer for 30 minutes or until pork is tender.
- Add radish and sili. Cover and Simmer until radish is almost cooked. Add okra. Allow to Simmer.
- Add kangkong and sinigang mix powder. Allow to Simmer.
- Makes 5 servings
